Cross Creek Contracting Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a flooring and general contracting company based in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use www.crosscreekcontracting.ca or send us an enquiry through our website.
We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) for the personal information we handle in the course of our business.
Information we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number (if you provide one)
- The service you are asking about
- Your message
Our servers may also receive your IP address and basic browser information so we can limit spam, keep the form working, and diagnose errors. If spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) is turned on, a verification token is sent with your submission.
We do not ask for payment card numbers, social insurance numbers, or other sensitive identification through this website.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us to:
- Respond to quote requests and project enquiries
- Contact you by email or phone about the work you asked about
- Send a short confirmation that we received your message
- Keep a record of the enquiry for our business files
- Protect the site against spam and abuse
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your enquiry to send unrelated marketing unless you later ask us to stay in touch.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed to operate the website and answer your enquiry:
- Email delivery: we use Resend to send your message to our inbox and to send you a confirmation email.
- Website hosting: the site is hosted by Vercel.
- Spam protection: if enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile confirms you are not a bot.
- Optional backup: if configured, a copy of the enquiry may be stored in our business database so we do not lose it if email fails.
These providers only receive what they need to perform that service. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Cookies and similar tools
This website uses a small number of technical cookies or similar tools for hosting, security, and (when enabled) spam protection. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data to third parties.
Google Maps may load when you view the map on our contact section. Google may collect technical data according to its own privacy policy. Instagram and Google Maps links take you to those companies’ websites.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain ordinary business records (for example, if the enquiry becomes a project). We then delete or securely archive it according to our record-keeping needs and legal requirements.
Your choices
You may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete an enquiry you no longer want us to keep, where we are not required to retain it
- Withdraw consent for future contact about a past enquiry
